Hemmorrhoids Twenty Tips Part 1
Here are 20 tips to help with your hemorrhoid treatment and prevention.
Tip 1. Change your diet to include fiber Sources like wheat bran, fresh fruits, and vegetables. A high fiber diet is probably the most important consideration in the treatment and prevention of hemorrhoids.
Tip 2. Bleeding hemorrhoids will require other foods such as alfalfa, blackstrap molasses, and dark green leafy vegetables, which are high in vitamin K.
Tip 3. Drink plenty of liquids, including at least 8 glass of water daily. Water is the best, most natural stool softener in existence and will help greatly in hemorrhoid relief and hemorrhoid prevention.
Tip 4. Try to avoid fats, animal products, coffee, alcohol, and hot spices in your diet. Red meat and high-protein diets are especially hard on the lower digestive tract and will irritate hemorrhoids and are a leading contributor to the formation of hemorrhoids.
Tip 5. Take 1 or 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil daily to soften stools. The less strain on trips to the toilet will help relieve pain from current conditions of hemorrhoids and also reduce the chance of further attacks of both internal and external hemorrhoids.
Tip 6. When using a fiber supplement do not abuse amounts. Start with a moderate amount and increase your intake gradually. If you take too much at first, this will cause painful bloating, gas, and possibly diarrhea which can worsen hemorrhoids not help it.
Tip 7. Try using cayenne and garlic enemas to keep bowels clean which will reduce stress and irritation on hemorrhoid conditions.
Tip 8. Try using a peeled clove of garlic as a suppository up to three times a week. You can also use raw potato suppositories to help heal hemorrhoids and relieve pain. Peel a potato and cut it into small cone shaped pieces.
Tip 9. If you are bothered by persistent bleeding, take vitamin and mineral supplements to prevent anemia. An iron supplement together with a powerful vitamin B complex and vitamin C will keep the blood healthy.
Tip 10. Learn not to strain when moving bowels. Keep the bowels clean and avoid constipation. Don't sit on the commode for longer than ten minutes at a time, as this causes blood to pool in the hemorroidal veins.
