A painless rectal bleeding may happen but this must not be disregarded. The internal hemorrhoids may be painless at first but a more severe condition may result from it. The external hemorrhoids are the ones the bulge externally on your rectum. You may feel swelling, itching, bleeding, and pain with external hemorrhoids.

If you are experiencing rectal bleeding and pain, do not make a self-diagnosis. Do not assume that you are experiencing rectal bleeding caused by hemorrhoids. Rectal bleeding is a symptom of a number of digestive problems. It is best to consult your doctor to check if it is really hemorrhoids.

If you have hemorrhoids, be strict with your diet. Keep a high fiber diet and increase your fluid intake. Maintain good hydration of your body to avoid constipation. Thus, easing the hemorrhoid problems that you are currently experiencing.

Excessive cleansing with soap and water in your anal area when experiencing hemorrhoids can cause problems with either external hemorrhoids or internal hemorrhoids. Frequent washing can remove the natural oils of the skin in your anal area thus increasing the friction when you make movements. It will really make you feel uncomfortable.

When having hemorrhoids, keep your anal area lubricated. Your physician can give you medication and ointments that can be used. Don’t wipe your rectum when hemorrhoids are present because that will definitely be very painful. A good thing to do is to wash your anal area and pat it dry, don’t wipe.

If your hemorrhoids are already healed, that doesn’t mean it won’t come back again. To prevent hemorrhoids, remember to have good bowel movement management, avoid constipation, and maintain good hygiene.
