Hemorrhoids - The natural and unnatural way of treatment
There have been various ways to treat hemorrhoids. There have been ways to treat it via medications from drugstores and there are those that come from the natural way treatment. No matter what kind of person you are. Whether you believe in still using natural resources or drug remedies, you’ll have to agree on one thing. Hemorrhoids are one bad experience.
Most products that are made are not really there for curing hemorrhoids. They only offer some temporary relief of the symptoms of hemorrhoids such as swelling, itching, irritation, or bleeding. Most products with materials such as petrochemicals, additives, coloring, dyes or other chemicals will only be absorbed by the body. It is in the body where organs of elimination will have to deal with them.
Medications used for hemorrhoids use chemicals, substances, oils, and herbs have the following properties:
•
Anesthetics – helps suppress pain
•
Analgesics
•
Vasoconstrictors – helps narrow and constricts veins
•
Lubricants – relieves constipation by lubricating the colon
•
Astringents – helps tighten the tissues which have been pushed out
by hemorrhoid action
•
Keratolytics – helps remove excess hemorrhoid tissues.
Carl Flath wrote in 1975 that suppositories are virtually worthless. Since as antiseptics, instead of being able to protect the affected area, it becomes exposed to new bacteria.
Natural remedies may be riskier to use than drug medications for hemorrhoids. But here are still a variety of natural remedies and you may choose one that works for you. Remember that this may have different effects for different people.
Cranberry Poultice
• Blend 3-4 tablespoons of raw cranberries
•
Wrap the blended cranberry into cheesecloth.
•
Push it into your anus and keep it there with tight underwear.
•
After an hour, replace it with new blend.
It doesn’t sound nice when something gets stuck in your anus. But if it’s that effective, maybe you should give it a desperate try.
Geranium-lavender oil mixture
Combine 2-3 drops of lavender to one or two drops of geranium with one ounce of almond oil. Place it inside a bottle and then shake the mixture very well. Then put some on your fingers and then apply in the area that has been affected.
This remedy sounds like the best way to remove hemorrhoids, since you don’t have to stick something up your ass.
Garlic and Onions
This may sound like a big fat joke but garlic and onions are used as suppositories. They are able to strengthen veins, kill bacteria and reduce inflammation. (Reduce? Won’t your ass be more inflamed when you put an onion or garlic inside it?)
Peel the garlic or onion into the size of a small clove, and then slowly push them inside your rectum and not to far. When you go the toilet in the morning, they will soon follow. Just don’t let anyone go inside the toilet for a few hours, as I’m sure this will result in a very foul odor.
Ice Packs
Wrap a plastic bag full of ice with any cloth and place it directly in the hemorrhoid area. Apply it for 15-20 minutes then rest for 10-15 minutes. Do this for 2 – 3 hours.
Any of these methods may prove effective to you, but always remember that
if your hemorrhoid becomes worse. Just go to a doctor for further diagnosis.
