Hemorrhoids Treatment By Diet 4

So your doctor told you that you need to go on a high fiber diet to help with your hemorrhoids but you don't know what that means. The only thing you can think about is a bunch of tasteless meals and getting stuck eating grains all day long.

Well, it doesn't have to be like that.

High fiber in a hemorrhoid diet does not have to be boring and it certainly doesn't have to be tasteless. There are many different varieties of sources to get fiber into your diet.

Fiber is the leading ingredient that most physicians recommend to help battle the symptoms of hemorrhoids and to help from suffering from further incidents of hemorrhoids.

While the exact cause of hemorrhoids is still under debate by scientists and doctors, all generally agree that a major factor in helping to combat the symptoms is a change in the eating habits of people who suffer from hemorrhoids.

Processed foods tend to add a strain to the digestive system and make straining of the body during trips to the toilet. So changing your diet and adding fiber to your intake will mean that there is less stress on the anal canal and have significant advantageous results to help prevent more hemorrhoids from happening.

So yes, you will have to cut down on all those trips to those fast food joints that you love so much, but it will not mean you have to give up on variety and tasty dishes. And what is the result? If it helps to end your pain, itching and irritation from hemorrhoids, isn't it worth it?

I thought you would think so.

So where do we go from here? What does a high fiber diet include?

Besides the obvious using fiber substitutes, fiber is easily found in plant foods and comes in two types. Soluble fiber dissolves in water and has shown to help in lowering cholesterol. Examples of this type of fiber are bananas, broccoli, oatmeal, and citrus fruits.

The other type of fiber is called insoluble. That means that this type of fiber does not dissolve in water. Insoluble fiber is found in roughage. This type of fiber promotes regularity and has shown to help reduce risks in certain types of cancer and prevent hemorrhoids. Insoluble fiber is found in wheat bran, corn bran and brown rice.

Very important points to remember when starting your hemorrhoid high fiber diet are:
